My approach to weddings is to observe and capture timeless images that, when beautifully presented in an album, tell the story of your day. To do this effectively I follow these 3 simple stages for each wedding assignment.

Check Your Wedding Date

Before Your Wedding

To capture images that tell story of your day, I need to be in the right place at the right time and to know what is happening throughout your wedding. This is done by meeting for the final time about 4 weeks before your date, we discuss timings and where I'll be and for how long. In doing this you are confident I know where to be and that I'll be in prime position throughout the important aspects of your day.

We also plan the formal group images at this point; so on the day these all run smoothly and we don't miss anyone important out. I do have a lot of couples that state they don't want formal groups; this is completely fine with me it's your day. However, other family members may have other ideas, I take your guidance and don't insist on anything.

On The Day

As we've already taken a detailed plan of your day in the final meeting, I can relax and concentrate, watching for different images to capture. This gives me the time to walk around with a smile on my face chatting to guests, so they know I am a normal person, not a reclusive 'camera operator' who is to be avoided. This works in relaxing guests around me and hopefully helps you relax, which in turn makes for really natural images.

After Your Wedding

We get to work selecting the images from the day, each one is hand edited and will be presented as a printable, high resolution image on a USB, this is the case for all the packages I offer. If you've chosen a package including an album, then you'll be given instructions as to how to guide me in the image selection, we then work with these images to create your bespoke album. Fundamentally you use my skill to create the album, but with a small amount of guidance from you.

The albums are always proofed to you virtually first for approval. Once any amends have been made, then and only then will your album will go to print. As all of our albums are made from scratch by hand they do take time to craft. The usual turn around from the date of design approval is 2 - 3 weeks.
